The Challenges In The Design
Tackling a large-scale project during transitional seasons can be complex. This site featured significant elevation changes, requiring precise grading and expert engineering to ensure stability and longevity—especially for the massive 305 sqft retaining wall. The client also wanted a seamless flow between patio and yard while maintaining usable garden space, which added complexity to the spatial planning and layout. Matching colors across materials and large surfaces also demanded careful product selection and timing to avoid batch inconsistencies.
The Final Landscape Design
The result is a refined, multi-functional outdoor environment that blends aesthetics and strength. The expansive 1,600 sqft patio offers ample room for gatherings, lounging, and dining, with the Almond-toned Beacon Hill XL pavers giving a warm, modern finish. The Estate Wall retaining system adds depth and architectural interest while holding back slopes with timeless elegance. Each element was placed with intention—from the curved lines and transitions to the finishing touches in the surrounding landscaping—making this space both beautiful and built to last.
